APEGA's Canadian environment competencies.
8 of the 22, each with a minimum.

For applications from Jul 18, 2026, APEGA no longer asks for a year of Canadian work experience. Instead, 8 of its 22 competencies must be shown in a Canadian context, each with a minimum score: 1.1, 1.6, 1.9, 2.1, 2.2, 2.3 and 5.1 at 3; 6.2 at 2. If any is scored below its minimum, the application can't proceed.
